My beautiful city: ESFAHAN

Esfahan is one of the greatest cities and art center of IRAN. There are several nice ancient buldings, bridges, mosques, and traditional handicrafts.

A Breife About Persian Painting:
The evidence of Iranian art exists from Islamic period, and there are no many traces before it because of Arab's attack( century 7th). Persian painting is, usually, called Miniature, but the miniature is one of its features. some other features are included:
Lack of perspective, flat colors, unreal flowers ( Khataei), crackly clothing, etc.Its content is, usually, based on poetry, mythologic topics, and scenes of hunting and war.
In my artworks, a psychological, philosophic, and artistic attitude is shown. There are some cultural topics such as Islamic mysticism, Iranian poetry, calligraphy, and Persian painting.

Esfahan
This is probably the most famous of Esfahan's bridges.. It is made up of a series of 33 arches and was commissioned in 1602 by Shah Abbas I from one of his Generals. The name - Si-o-Seh Pol is derived from the Farsi for 33 (Si-o-Seh). The bridge is built on a series of pontoons of great width and there is a famous tea-house amongst them which is accessible from the southern bank.
